itel Empowers Over 600 Pupils in Ikorodu with Back-to-School Donations Worth ₦4 Million

Leading mobile technology and Africa’s No. 1 Tech Empowerment Brand, itel, has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting education and empowering communities through its Love Always On Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

In partnership with Ise Omoluabi Foundation, the brand carried out its Back-to-School CSR at Omolaiye Community Primary School, Agbede, Ikorodu, on Monday 15th September 2025 donating essential learning materials worth over ₦4 million to pupils.

The donations included school bags, mathematical sets, pencils, pens, and exercise books; all aimed at equipping pupils with the basic tools they need to succeed in the new academic session.

The headmistress of Omolaiye Community Primary School, Mrs. Oyeneye Teniola Kehinde, expressed heartfelt appreciation to itel and the Ise Omoluabi Foundation for the timely intervention.

“On behalf of our school, I sincerely thank itel and Ise Omoluabi Foundation for this generous gesture. Many of our pupils come from families that struggle to provide the most basic school items. These donations will go a long way in boosting their confidence, improving their learning experience, and encouraging them to stay focused on their education.”

Through Love Always On, itel has consistently extended its impact beyond technology, creating meaningful social change in communities across Nigeria and Africa. The brand continues to prioritize initiatives that bridge educational gaps, support sustainable development, and uplift vulnerable groups.

It will be recalled that in the first half of 2025, itel demonstrated unwavering commitment to social good by executing two high-impact CSR programmes. On April 16, itel commissioned an electric borehole at Brigade Gama (B), Kasuwar Takari community, located in Nasarawa Local Government Area of Kano State, addressing a long-standing water scarcity issue and directly contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 6; ensuring access to clean water and sanitation for all.

Furthermore, to commemorate Children’s Day May 27th, 2025, itel, in partnership with the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) Channel 10, donated learning materials to over 51 schools during a grand celebration held at the NTA Grounds, Tejuosho Avenue, Yaba, Lagos. This initiative aligns with SDG 4, which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities.

This latest intervention at Omolaiye Community Primary School not only underscores itel’s role as a leading tech brand but also as a dependable partner in nation-building.
